Home Visits

Requesting a Home Visit

If you are either incapacitated or too ill to come to the Surgery you may request a home visit.

Please telephone before 10:00am so that the Doctors can plan their rounds for the day. Be prepared to give the receptionist some indication of the nature and urgency of the problem.

If you need a Doctor IMMEDIATELY please tell the receptionist or dial 999. Please remember that a more complete and effective consultation can be done in the Surgery with the benefit of our modern equipment and help of our nursing staff.

The Doctor can see several patients in the Surgery in the time it takes to make one home visit.

Emergencies / Urgent Appointments

If you need to be seen the same day please telephone us as soon as possible after 8:30am. If your problem requires urgent assistance please make this clear to the Receptionist.

Infectious Disease

If you have a suspected infectious disease, please inform reception if you suspect an infectious disease, as this will enable us to deal with it appropriately during your visit to protect you, other patients and staff.

Consultations for 16 to 75 year olds

If a patient aged between 16 and 75 years has not had a practice consultation within a period of three years, we are happy, on request, to provide a consultation.
