The new weight management ‘Tirzepatide’ medication (brand name Mounjaro®) will be available on the NHS nationally from 23rd June. Although approximately 1000 people in Dorset meet the strict national eligibility criteria, the medication will not be available locally until later this year (expected in Autumn 2025).
